The multi-talented six-time South African Music Award (SAMA) winning songstress, Lira is finding her voice again and coming back stronger than ever.
Lira, born Lerato Moipone Molapo, lost her ability to communicate via speech after suffering a stroke while on tour in Germany earlier this year, leaving her friends and supporters in shock and concerned as to whether she would make a full recovery.
But judging by her latest social media update things seem to be going well for the Feel Good singer and we couldn’t be happier.
Sharing a video of the rehearsals for Return to Me, Lira shared a goose-bump-inducing video adding that “Speech challenging, but I can still sing.”

As if Lira’s voice wasn’t powerful enough, her strength only makes her shine brighter.
