Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are parents!
The couple welcomed their first child via surrogate on Saturday, 15 January and shared the exciting news on Instagram earlier today:
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.”

Both Priyanka and Nick have previously expressed their desire to start a family. In an interview with People, the actress revealed: ‘We definitely want kids, and when the time is right, it will happen.’
Nick shared Priyanka’s sentiments in an interview with E!, stating that having a family is “obviously something we hope happens, and god willing, it comes together.”
The news of their bundle of joy comes a few weeks after the couple’s third wedding anniversary, which they celebrated with a dreamy, candlelit dinner in London.
