Yes, you read that right: Ed Sheeran will be starring in season 7 of Game Of Thrones (GOT)!
He posted the following tweet last night, with a link to a Vanity Fair article explaining how he’d landed the role:

According to the article, the show’s creators have wanted the popular singer-songwriter to appear on the show for quite some time.
Apparently Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, is a huge Ed Sheeran fan, and they wanted him to appear on the show as a surprise for her.
No one knows what role he’ll play on the show. We’d love to see him as the first red-headed white-walker? Or maybe Arya Stark’s first crush?
