Speaking out about personal health issues is not taboo for model, Hailey Bieber. The Rhode skincare founder has been going through a rather challenging situation with regards to her health, and has chosen to be open about it with her fans on social media.
It’s been a difficult year for Hailey when it comes to health. Just a few months ago, she experienced a mini-stroke when a blood clot ruptured in her brain.
Now, the model and entrepreneur has openly candid about an ovarian cyst she has developed, which she claims ‘the size of an apple’.
Earlier this week, Hailey took to her Instagram stories, revealing what seemed to look like a bump on her belly.
Immediate assumptions were made – oh it’s a baby! But no, the Biebers won’t be bringing life into the world, just yet.
“Not a baby,” she wrote in her story, before anyone else could jump to conclusions.

She goes on to explain:
“I have a cyst on my ovary the size of an apple,”
“I don’t have endometriosis or PCOS but I have gotten an ovarian cyst a few times and it’s never fun.”
She added that the condition is “painful and achey,” and it makes her feel “nauseous and bloated and crampy and emotional.”
After a difficult year of battling health issues, this is no icing on the cake. We’re wishing Hailey a speedy, healthy recovery.
