South African native Charlize Theron has never been afraid of a new look. In the past, the star has shown that she is especially fond of switching up her hairdo. This Saturday, at her annual Africa Outreach Project Block Party, Charlize debuted yet another new look.
The new Charlize Theron (for now)
Charlize has ditched the classic blonde bob! The actress and producer arrived at the Universal Studios Back Lot, where the party took place, looking like a whole new woman. All thanks to a fresh chop that saw her rocking a dark-coloured mullet. The fresh cut featured messy bangs, tapered sides and a layered finish at the back. The haircut was created by hairstylist to the stars Adir Abergel. You might remember him from Nicola Peltz’s bridal hair when she married Brooklyn Beckham.

We may not be brave enough to choose the cut for ourselves, but on the bold Charlize Theron it’s striking!

The rest of the look was kept low-key. Charlize paired her edgier ‘do with a crisp white Dior shirt and slightly flared jeans. She completed the outfit with classic black heels and modern silver jewellery from Tiffany’s & Co. Of course, this kept all eyes on the haircut debut.

The Block Party
The Africa Outreach Project Block Party is a gala event hosted to raise funds for the youth of Southern Africa in matters of health, education and safety. Unlike other gala events the annual Block Party is a more relaxed gathering packed with fun. Charlize welcomed a dazzling array of Hollywood stars, together with her Fast and Furious co-stars and the cast of Jurassic World Dominion.

Guests were treated to a special opening-weekend screening of the anticipated Jurassic film, a delicious street food style menu and several performances. This included Wyclef Jean who posted a video proving Charlize’s statement that she danced her ‘ass off’ with the Haitian rapper on stage.
