Finally, a happily ever after for the Pop Princess! News from Hollywood confirms that Britney Spears is married to Sam Asghari, her longtime partner. Here are the details we know so far about the couple’s big day.
The happy couple
Britney first met personal trainer and actor Sam in October 2016 when he played her love interest in the Slumber Party music video. It didn’t take long before they were dating with Brittney making it Instagram-official in January 2017. Fast-forward almost 5 years to September 2021 when the couple got engaged – just months before the dissolution of Britney’s brutal 13-year conservatorship came to an end.
‘Sam has been a huge support for Britney,’ a source told Page Six in June 2021. ‘He helps boost her confidence.’

It was clear to see how ecstatic Britney was to finally start planning a real life for her and Sam. ‘Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged in November,’ an inside source told People. ‘It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect.’

And now Britney Spears is married! According to People Magazine, the couple tied the knot on Thursday evening in Los Angeles. Although no location has been revealed, we know it was an intimate affair of just around 60 guests. Apparently, this included famous pals Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton and Kathy Hilton.

While Britney’s brother Bryan Spears was in attendance, the rest of her estranged family were absent. As were her teenage sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, although both are ‘happy’ Britney Spears is married to Sam Asghari a lawyer for their father Kevin Federline reported.
And it seems that when Donatella Versace visited Britney and Sam back in March it was for a very special meeting. Yup, apparently Britney wore a wedding dress by famed fashion house Versace!
