Cold weather and I have never seen eye to eye, or foot to foot. With the brittle cold weather on its way, I’m quickly shifting into cold feet mode. When my feet are cold, the rest of my body doesn’t warm up. So, when I got my hands on UGG’s newest addition to their iconic collection of winter boots, my feet said thank you just in time for the colder months.

Why I love my UGG Ultra Mini Platform Boots

You always know you’ve got a good cosy boot when you can barely wait to get home and waft around the house with them. Imagine my excitement when I first unboxed my pair, knowing my cold autumn tootsies had finally found sanction.

Let’s get into what stands out most about the mini platform boots:

The platform

Being short and fun-sized, these boots have given me a real boost. I love the way their platform shape elongates my legs, opening the door to more UGG-inspired autumn and winter outfit opportunities.

The slight platform also gives me a little extra height without hurting my feet after walking in them for hours, which is important, especially for someone like me, who’s on the go every day.

What I love most about this boot is its platform, which has redefined the classic UGG.

The material

You can’t mention soft and warm without bringing up UGGS! These are made from high-quality suede and lined with soft, cosy plush material. I find myself wiggling my toes around the soft lining snug as a bug.

If you wondering if your feet tend to overheat in these boots, my answer is no. They keep you warm, but are more porous than closed shoes.

The Collection

The boot comes in classic black, chestnut, and olive green.

Contrary to popular thought, when given the choice between the black or chestnut pair, I chose the chestnut pair. I only wear black clothes, but black shoes tend to cut my height off and make me appear stubby. So chestnut it was! It was Bella Hadid that convinced me when I saw her wearing her boots. Yes, babe!

In terms of sizing, these boots run true to size, so there is no need to size up or down. They have a comfortable fit that hugs your foot without feeling too tight – even with socks. The boots are easy to slip on and off, thanks to their convenient pull-on design.

Styling your UGGS can be versatile. They’re fairly casual boots but can be dressed up for a chic daytime look or dressed down for lounging around the house.

If you’re wondering how to style them for a casual look, my go-to would be cropped black jeans, mom fit. Paired with a plain black t-shirt and a cropped leather jacket, or black leggings and an oversized chunk knit with a coat thrown over the shoulders.
