Rachel John, the 25-year-old influencer linked romantically to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, has jetted off to Nigeria — her first visit in five years. John, who is half Nigerian and half Dutch, shared the journey on social media, noting that this particular trip required only her Nigerian passport.
She documented a six-hour flight to Abuja, where she was met with a warm welcome from locals, some wearing shirts bearing her name. She also shared footage of the enthusiastic reception she received from people happy to see her return to her father’s home country.

She was first linked to Siya Kolisi in late 2025, when fans identified her sitting beside the rugby star at the ATP Tour Finals in Turin. Since then, the pair have been spotted together on several occasions — including a trip to Victoria Falls earlier this year, confirmed when a fan spotted them boarding a cruise on the Zambezi River — though neither has made a formal public statement about their relationship.
