Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, takes New Orleans for the 71st Miss Universe pageant

The dazzling Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, has jetted off to New Orleans where she will compete at the 71st Miss Universe pageant on the 14th of January.

Contestants have been busy around the clock, attending events and rehearsing for the big day later this week.

Nokeri has taken to Instagram to share a few special moments of her trip so far, starting with her visit to the airport six days ago. Nokeri’s smile is beaming, and she’s dressed in SA colours, sporting the national flag in tow:

“Here we go South Africa! I carry you with me” says the 23-year-old as she gears up and jets off to represent SA at the Miss Universe pageant.

Ndavi and her roommate Cassia Sharpley – who is also competing in the pageant, representing Namibia – pose together in a snap captioned: “African force! So excited to be roomies with our neighbouring country, Namibia”

On her second day there, Nokeri poses for her close up as makeup artist Gionel Virginie touches her up. Sporting a full denim look and a flawless face beat, Miss SA stuns commenters, raking in 10s across the board.

Ndavi then shared a carousel post, posing with other contestants competing in the pageant, captioned:

“Day 2 Round up! Living the dream! New Orleans really is the gift from heaven!’

On her fourth day there, Nokeri captures another snap of herself sporting a beautiful golden number, asking followers where they might have seen the fabric before.

Of course, when it comes to Miss SA, we’re always taking notes. The same fabric used in Nokeri’s outfit was also used for her head wrap, from her official shoot for Miss Universe.

During the rest of her time there, Nokeri has kept the glamour rolling, sharing snaps of her #ootd (outfits of the day).

The most dazzling outfit, in our opinion, was Nokeri’s dress for the Miss Universe Welcome reception. Just look at this all-black affair:

In her latest post, Ndavi shares that she’s about to go through for her interview, looking gorgeous in a two piece with a golden clutch to complement.

She captions:

“Sitting here waiting to go in for Interview with my spirit and heart uplifted knowing that this moment is so much bigger than me. This moment is for every young boy and girl back home, for them to see that their dreams are Valid! All of them, no matter how big or small.

I am eternally grateful for each and every message of support, encouragement and love.

I carry each and everyone of you with me!”
