Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard and his wife Marise marked a special milestone this month as they celebrated the baptism of their daughter, Isabella Tanya Pollard.
Marise shared a series of photos from the intimate ceremony on Instagram, capturing the family’s joyful moment.
“May His favour rest upon your life, our dearest Isabella,” she captioned the post.

The couple became parents of two under two in October 2025 when Isabella was born, just over a year after they welcomed their first child, Hunter Andre, in April 2024.
Handre and Marise first connected on Facebook in 2012 before tying the knot in a picturesque ceremony at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands in 2017.
Building their dream home
After living in the UK since 2022 during Handre’s stint with Leicester Tigers, the family returned to South Africa in 2025 when he signed a two-year contract with Pretoria-based side The Bulls.
Marise previously revealed that they were temporarily staying with her parents while their dream home was under construction.
“We’re currently staying with my parents while our house is being built and all our furniture makes its way back from the UK by sea,” she shared at the time.
Earlier this month, she gave followers a glimpse inside their new home, marking another new chapter for the growing family.
The Pollards are among several Springbok families who recently expanded their households, with Eben Etzebeth and Faf de Klerk also welcoming second children in recent months.
