The Our Place X Selena Gomez kitchenware collaboration is not her first step into the cooking world. Like most of us, Selena was drawn to her kitchen during the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic. But of course the ambitious star didn’t stop at sourdough starters and banana bread. In collaboration with streaming site HBO Max Selena created a cooking show, Selena + Chef. Since its August 2020 release the show has been a great hit and is now entering its third season.

‘Having binge watched her HBO Max home cooking show Selena + Chef, I loved how she approached cooking as a way to learn and connect with others,’ Our Place founder Shiza Shahid told BAZAAR.com in a recent interview. The modern kitchenware brand began in 2019 with the belief that connections are made across the kitchen table.

The collection includes a few kitchen basics, both for cooking in and with as well as serving. There are the Our Place best-sellers the Always Pan and Perfect Pot, along with drinking glasses, kitchen knives and various plate sizes. What makes the Our Place X Selena Gomez kitchenware unique are the two bold and and vibrant colours created by Selena: Rosa and Azul. ‘My main goal when I’m cooking is to have fun,’ says Selena. ‘This collection is designed for home-cooks like me who just need easy-to-use, multifunctional products.’
