It’s a romance that most of the world has been obsessed with, and in the past few weeks the marriage we all wanted to see. This last weekend, it all happened: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker married in Portofino, Italy.
Third time’s the charm
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have married each other not once, not twice but three times. Kourtney’s Instagram tells us it started the night of the Grammy Awards. This is when ‘at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila,’ the couple wed – unofficially – with an Elvis impersonator in a Vegas chapel.

The practice run was followed by their low-key registry office affair on 16th May. With just her grandmother and his father as witnesses, the two tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California. But Kourtney is a Kardashian after all. We couldn’t really believe they were done. The big celebration we anticipated has come.

Villa Olivetta was the setting for the weekend wedding filled with friends and family, most of which are A-list celebs. This is the gorgeous Portofino home on the idyllic estate of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. It is here that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker bound themselves ’til death do us part’ for the third time.

Everything was Dolce & Gabbana, even the pasta!
Naturally, getting married at the Dolce & Gabbana estate meant the wedding was a full designer affair. The whole weekend could have been mistaken for an overly lavish D&G marketing campaign! There was everything from vintage to custom and current designs from the Dolce & Gabbana collections.

On her wedding day, the bride stunned in one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana. But Kourtney moved away from the more traditional wedding gowns, like her sisters have donned in the past. Instead the alternative bride wore a D&G Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress. It was inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie and perfectly matched the double breasted suit designed for the groom.

Kourtney Karsdashian’s sweeping veil featured hand embroidered details, making images from the altar a breathtaking sight. The veil included flowers of the Mediterranean region and religious iconography inspired by one of Travis Barker’s tattoos. Family remains a big feature for the pair (both are parents to a growing brood), as the text on Kourtney’s veil read ‘family, loyalty, respect’.
But this isn’t any family. This is a family in Dolce & Gabbana!

It was a full-on La Dolce Vita maximalist affair, as social media stories and posts have revealed. Even the pasta used was from the Dolce & Gabbana collaboration with Pasta Di Martino. Not only did the guests wear designer, they ate it too!
Kourtney Kardashian Barker
Kourtney was spied wearing a leather jacket post-ceremony which read ‘Mrs. Barker’ – the surname of her now-husband. And it seems the star has fully embraced this new name. Her Instagram profile has changed to say ‘Kourtney Kardashian Barker’. Kourtney also posted a sweet detail of her wedding dress – the letters ‘KKB’ stitched in, almost invisible but definitely significant.
