South African star Connie Ferguson has been named guest judge and guest of honour at the highly anticipated Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 finale, set to take place this Saturday, 17 May, at the Hippodrome in Harare.
An icon of the small screen and a force behind the scenes, Ferguson’s presence is expected to bring star power and gravitas to the national pageant, where nine finalists will compete for the coveted crown and the chance to represent Zimbabwe at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November.
The Miss Universe Zimbabwe organisation proudly shared the news, describing Ferguson as “a true role model whose legacy inspires women across Africa.” The statement also highlighted her influential work as an actress, producer, and entrepreneur, as well as her philanthropic efforts through the Ferguson Foundation, which supports African communities in education, business, and the creative industries.
