Britney Spears is pregnant with her third child!
The 40-year-old singer revealed the news on Instagram earlier today, saying that she decided to take a pregnancy test after her fiance Sam Asghari joked about her being ‘food pregnant’.
‘I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ … I thought “Geez … what happened to my stomach ???” My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly 🤪 !!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby 👶🏼 … 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant 🤰🏼🙈🙈🙈 It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just loose it 😬😬😬😬😬😬 …,’ her Instagram caption reads.

The news comes just a few months after Britney won her conservatorship battle after 13 years. During an emotional statement during the court proceedings, she shared how she was forced to use birth control and that she was not allowed to get married during her conservatorship despite her desire to do so.
‘I want to be able to get married and have a baby,’ the singer told a judge. ‘I was told right now in the conservatorship I am not able to get married or have a baby.”
The father-to-be later confirmed the news with his own Instagram post, saying: Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do🙏
This baby will be the couple’s first together. The singer has two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15 from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline.
