The Beckham family put on a united front in Paris this week as they celebrated Victoria Beckham’s latest international honour, despite the noticeable absence of eldest son Brooklyn.
Victoria Beckham was named an Officer of the Order of the Arts and Letters by France’s Ministry of Culture, recognising her contribution to the fashion and entertainment industries. The award is given to individuals who have made a significant impact on France’s cultural life.
Victoria and her husband, former England captain David Beckham, travelled to Paris for the ceremony alongside their children Cruz, Romeo and Harper. Cruz and Romeo were joined by their respective partners.

Brooklyn Beckham did not attend the event, marking another missed family appearance amid ongoing reports of strain within the Beckham family. His absence comes shortly after he publicly addressed tensions with his parents, following years of speculation about a rift.
Taking to Instagram after the ceremony, Victoria thanked her family for their support, giving special mention to David, whom she referred to as her “original investor”.
She also reflected on the significance of receiving the honour in France, saying she has long admired the French approach to fashion as an art form.
“To be recognised here and embraced in this way is a profound privilege,” she wrote, thanking French Culture Minister Rachida Dati for the accolade.
Dati praised Beckham as a “global icon” with a special place in French culture, highlighting her “meticulous, almost architectural” approach to design.
The Order of the Arts and Letters is separate from France’s highest honour, the Legion of Honour, which was recently awarded to Louis Vuitton men’s creative director Pharrell Williams.
David Beckham himself received a knighthood from King Charles III in November, calling it one of the proudest moments of his life.
