Dua Lipa has given her 88 million Instagram followers a look at her recent South African adventure — and she was not shy about how much it meant to her. The British pop star and her actor fiancé, Callum Turner, spent time on safari at Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands, and the experience left a clear mark.
“David Attenborough, eat your heart out! I just had the most incredible trip of my life in South Africa,” she wrote. “Being so close to such beautiful animals in their natural habitat, between Kruger Park and Sabi Sands, was something I can barely put into words. It was truly unforgettable — one of those experiences that stays with you forever.”

She has form with Cape Town, too
The Kruger visit is not Lipa’s first South African chapter. In January, she shared images from Cape Town — dining at La Colombe in Constantia, visiting a local museum, walking up Table Mountain and exploring the Bo-Kaap. The two visits together suggest an artist who has genuinely fallen for the country rather than simply passing through.
Given that Lipa and Turner are reportedly planning a low-key summer wedding — possibly abroad — speculation has naturally turned to whether South Africa might factor into those plans. Sources have suggested the couple want to keep it intimate, away from the spotlight, with Lipa aiming to be married before she turns 31 in August.
South Africa, it seems, has found itself a fan in one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. Whether she returns as a tourist or a bride, she will not be the last to leave, calling it unforgettable.
