Netflix confirmed that Kardashian will star alongside Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song and Fortune Feimster. The film follows a group of high-school best friends attempting to reconnect during a weekend trip to Las Vegas — only to have their plans upended when a glamorous outsider, played by Kardashian, crashes the reunion and forces the group to confront old tensions, questionable life choices and fractured friendships.
The casting continues Kardashian’s shift into acting following her recent appearance in All Is Fair, where she played high-powered lawyer Allura Grant. While fans praised the reality star’s screen presence, many noted that the role felt “close to real life”, sparking ongoing debate about the types of characters she gravitates toward.

Early reactions to The Fifth Wheel hint at similar expectations. Some users on X suggested Kardashian may once again play a catalyst for chaos — or a possible “homewrecker” — in the new comedy.
Others expressed excitement at the ensemble cast, with one fan writing: “Vegas drama with Kim K as the ultimate party crasher. This cast is a riot waiting to happen.”
Kardashian’s role in the film adds another chapter to her growing acting résumé, as she continues to balance reality-TV fame with a burgeoning presence in scripted comedy.
