Joy for the longtime couple
People Magazine confirmed that a source close to the pair confirmed that the former tennis star, 44, is pregnant and that the family is thrilled about the news. “Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again. They have proven to be wonderful parents to their three children, and they truly enjoy raising them,” the insider told People.
The couple, who reportedly tied the knot privately in Mexico years ago, have always favoured a low-key lifestyle. Despite their global fame, they tend to keep their family life out of the spotlight, sharing only occasional glimpses with fans.

Family comes first
Iglesias, 50, has adjusted his career in recent years to prioritise time at home. While still performing internationally, he has reduced the intensity of his touring schedule. “He loves his fans and performing live, but being a father is now just as important to him. Spending time with the children is what matters most,” the source explained.
In July 2025, Iglesias returned to Spain for the first time in six years to perform at the Granca Live Fest, before continuing with appearances in Mexico, India and Abu Dhabi. He also recently released FINAL (Vol. 2), which he has described as the concluding part of his long-running studio album series.
A relationship built on understanding
Iglesias and Kournikova first met in 2001 when she appeared in the music video for his hit single Escape. Speaking previously about their relationship, Iglesias reflected on how their shared experiences in the public eye helped form a strong foundation. “When we met, she came from the sports world and I was in music, but we understood each other’s lives. That made it easier to connect, and our bond grew stronger over time,” he said.
Kournikova retired from professional tennis in 2003 due to persistent injuries. She has since devoted much of her time to raising her family in Miami Beach, where the couple are said to be happiest.
Looking ahead
The new baby will join siblings Lucy, Nicholas and Mary, who, according to Iglesias, are his biggest fans. He once shared that when the children are upset, he cheers them up by singing together. “If they’ve had a bad day, I ask them what their favourite song is, and one of them will start singing I Like It. Then they all join in. It’s the best feeling,” he said.
For Iglesias and Kournikova, the focus now is firmly on family life, and with a fourth child on the way, their home is set to become even livelier.
