In a joint statement, the Williams sisters shared their excitement:
“We’re so excited to be launching our new podcast, a place where we will share our personal stories, have authentic conversations, spotlight important topics, and laugh a lot.”
More than just a reflection on their legendary sports careers, the podcast will feature interviews with “visionaries, creators and rulebreakers”—guests who, like the Williams sisters, challenge convention and push boundaries.
A new chapter, the same powerhouse energy
The podcast is being co-produced by Serena’s own production company, Nine Two Six Productions, and marks a major addition to X’s Originals lineup—a space also home to a reality series by Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian.
According to X Originals, the sisters already boast a combined 11.8 million followers on the platform, making it a natural fit for their next big move.
“Venus and Serena are among the most recognisable and revered athletes in the world,” said Mitchell Smith, X’s head of Original Content. “Their decision to team up with X places them at the centre of our rapidly evolving original content strategy.”
From the court to the mic
Whether sharing insights on sisterhood, spotlighting social issues, or simply laughing through behind-the-scenes stories, the Williams sisters are promising something fans have never seen before—a direct line into the personalities behind the powerhouse serves.
With a fanbase that spans generations and continents, and a reputation for authenticity and drive, the Williams sisters’ podcast is already shaping up to be a smash hit before the first episode even airs.
The podcast will debut exclusively on X in August 2025.
