Romantic, a little adventurous, views for days and being one with the birds – sign us up! From floating above historic cities to safaris from the air and travelling above the desert at sun rise, African hot air ballooning is in a league all of its own. In no particular order (because how could we choose!), here’s our bucket list of where to ride a hot air balloon in Africa:
Luxor, Egypt
Drift above the bustling city of Luxor to get a different view of the historic landscape. You’ll spot ancient landmarks like the Statue of Thebes and the see the Nile River snake through the landscape, glistening in the morning light.
