- 750g Brussels sprouts, peeled if necessary
- 125g bacon, chopped
- Squeeze lemon juice
- 25g butter
- Steam the sprouts until tender – around 10 minutes. Meanwhile, put the bacon into a frying pan and fry until it turns crispy. Leave the bacon in the pan.
- Once the sprouts are cooked, toss them in the pan with the bacon and, over a high heat, add the lemon juice and butter and stir until the butter has melted. Put the sprouts and bacon into a warmed serving dish.
