Black Bean Brownies

You can add beans to many desserts because of the mild flavour and richness perfect for moist baked goods


Ingredients

  • 1½ cups black beans
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup / honey
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
  2. Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour into a greased pan.
  4. Cook the brownies for 15-18 minutes and let cool before cutting them.
