Made from the finest cocoa, Lindt Excellence 85% is the embodiment of what exceptional chocolate can be.
Lindt is renowned for creating delicious chocolate and Lindt Excellence 85% is no different. Perfectly blended by Lindt’s Master Chocolatiers, only the finest cocoa has been used to bring out the flavour of the cocoa beans.
Where we get our cocoa beans
Lindt chocolate uses some of the finest beans from the most renowned cocoa regions around the world. These include Ghana, Latin America, Madagascar and the Caribbean Islands. It is from this fine cocoa Lindt Excellence 85% – the perfect indulgence – is made.
From bean to bar
Because Lindt & Sprüngli is a Bean to Bar manufacturer, you can be assured of only the highest quality from start to finish. The Master Chocolatiers work with their local partners to ensure that all beans are correctly fermented and dried before roasting takes place. Roasting the beans is an art in itself as it develops the cocoa’s full flavour.
Sustainability and better communities
Responsible procurement and the sustainable farming of cocoa beans are very important to Lindt. Lindt & Sprüngli is engaged locally in Ghana where cocoa is sourced through the Lindt & Sprüngli Farming Program.
This program aims to work closely with the farmers in the best cocoa farming regions and, through using their own procurement model, trace exactly where the cocoa beans come from.
In addition, Lindt & Sprüngli provides training courses to the farmers to ensure the best crops for them and, in turn, the finest quality beans for Lindt. The program will be expanded to cover Lindt & Sprüngli’s entire cocoa supply by 2020.
Use all your senses to enjoy Lindt
Lindt chocolate is created to be enjoyed with all your senses. Pay attention to the chocolate’s appearance, structure and sheen. Touch the surface to feel whether it is smooth or grainy. Hold a piece to your ear and break it.
High-quality unfilled chocolate like Lindt Excellence 85% breaks with a distinct cracking sound and the break is smooth and without crumbs. Smell the many aromas contained within the chocolate. Now, let a piece slowly melt in your mouth – isn’t that just pure decadence?
Go on, spoil yourself. Taste the Lindt Difference.
