Finding the right outfit to wear to a wedding can be quite a challenge, especially during winter. Luckily, our winters don’t often reach temperatures below zero degrees, so we can be a little more adventurous with our fashion style.
Something to take note of – the wedding invite. Most weddings have a dress code or a special theme and the worst thing you can do is disappoint your hosts by showing up in something that’s inappropriate to the theme.
Here are four outfit options to wear to a winter wedding…
The Floral Maxi
Yes, florals can be worn in winter too. Find a dress with a dark base layer and a print that pops. Pair with light coloured boots and accessories for a great outdoor winter wedding look.
Be bold, pick a bright coloured suit! Colour on colour and matching sets are quite the trend. Keep your shoes and accessories simple if your hue is a little bright.
If you prefer to keep your look as simple as possible without having a million layers on, this is the perfect piece for you. This jumpsuit is chic and practical with a built-in cape. Add a little fun with animal-printed heels and a shiny clutch.
Sequins, faux fur, velour… they’re all luxe and great for a winter wedding. Mix them together or wear them apart. Remember to keep one piece bold in colour and have a subtle piece, like a camel coat.
