South African Fashion Week AW/20 is still buzzing in the air. With over 20 designers showcasing their bespoke detailing and craftsmanship, it’s no wonder people can’t stop talking about this big social event. The Autum/Winter 2020 Luxury Collections broke boundaries, to say the least. Take a look at some of our favourite designers and the looks we fell in love with this season.
Jacques Bam The Bam Collective
Flirty frills are a big trend and we see it elevated with bright pops of colour. We love the striking bright hues and the mix of soft and strong silhouettes.
We saw an Asian-inspired range in Gert-Johan Coetzee’s latest range. The strong orange and black colours contrast beautifully down the runway. Staple classic pieces are present, but with exaggerated bows and shoulder pads which we absolutely adore.
A mix of soft tulle and abstract prints are found in this chic feminine range. Expect a range of flow sweeping skirts and oversized modern pants – all-in-one!
Judith – Atelier
Easy soft colours with a hint of mixed prints are what this range is about. The vibrant yellow hints a sense of botanical elements while the blues giving a sense of the sky and ocean. All together this range gives a feeling of warmth while staying true to nature.
