Winter is here, and so is Old Khaki’s winter collection to keep you warm, in style. We’ve also included some menswear, incase you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift!
In menswear, winter sees a continuation of some of the key trends played into in autumn
- Set dressing remains key across sweats and the newness can be seen in denim on denim and jackets worn back to utility. The denim trucker for the season – Style Philip, can be worn back to matching denim. There is also a matching pant and jacket set style – Ant and Albert.
- Tonal dressing remains key; the same tonality of colour is seen across sweats, Tees, track pant, knitwear and some key jacket sillhouttes.
- Fabrication and washes are the corner stone of the range, there texture in the shirting (cord, flannel and brushed shirting), introducing wool and wool blends in knitwear and ensuring there is the authentic pigment washed styles across knitwear, pants, Tees, golfers and jackets
- Wide selection of jackets – puffers, parkas, bombers, lightweight jackets, shackets, leather, denim.
- Fits remain relaxed and layering key. The biggest shift can be seen in shirting where THE contribution of relaxed fits is higher as well as in Tees. There is also an introduction of fashion fits in both these areas.
In ladieswear, winter carries through some of the main dressing trends we have seen in autumn, as well as some key new styling and fabrication details that will elevate the range this season.
- The colour strategy has been re-invented to offer a high-fashion capsule which is unique per month, alongside a core palette that carries through the season as a base for the range to be built on.
- Key changes in ladieswear includes growth in major winter categories such as knitwear and jackets, as well as growths to previously conservative categories such as dresses and pants.
- New necklines – interest necklines will be a big styling element for winter. These neckline shapes will be shared across categories such as sweats, knit tops and knitwear. These include higher necklines, Henley/ button through necklines, golfer collar necklines and zip-through details.
- Dresses – there is a significant growth in the category for the winter season. The styles are great statement pieces and print items.
- Textures – textured knitwear becomes more of a key focus with a wider offering across colours and stitches.
Sherpa continues to trend across jackets and sweats either in full garment form or as lining/ trim detail to give that extra winter warmth.
