New York Fashion Week kicked off the fashion week season for 2019, and the street style is, as always, exciting. We love seeing women showcase their individual style with confidence! We’ve picked our top five favourite street style looks to inspire you to consider new ways of wearing the latest trends.
We’re heading into Autumn and it’s the best time to mix up warmer tones with shades of rust and burgundy! A lightweight knit underneath a luxe dress takes your look into fashionista territory. Layering is the way to go with this look.

Ever since I was a little girl, I would DREAM about being at #NYFW. I still pinch myself because I can’t believe that this dream has become reality. To this day, I can remember flipping through magazines and seeing Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen attend the shows– and all I could think was “I wish that could be me.” What I’ve realized is that I don’t give myself enough credit for actually achieving my goal. It’s not about the number of followers that you have or the amount of likes you get, but about the opportunities and experiences. I am focusing on the fact that I freakin’ made it here! So always look at the bigger picture and realize that you are ALWAYS your own worst critic. If you put your mind to it, you can do anything.? #DreamBig
We already know that black and white are a winning combo… Elevate the look with contrasting elements to add more interest. A white lace dress styled with a statement belt, black leather boots and a snakeskin print bag will complete the ultimate Monochrome look.
A pink coat over a voluminous skirt adds a dramatic touch. Go for a belted style to add some definition. You can also let one colour be the star of the show by pairing it with pieces in neutral tones like white or beige. Pull it all together with a chic structured bag that picks up the colours in your outfit.
Be the star of the show in a bright and bold midi dress with a modern-shaped sleeve. Glam it up with black and gold accessories and finish it off with a circle bag.

Pink and blue? We love it! Pair subtle blue hues and soft pinks with white heels, and add a pop of colour with a striking bag. There’s power in one stand-out piece.
