It’s officially loungewear season again! As our homes become our offices once more and the winter chill seeps through, we are all in need of a little extra comfort. And not much comforts like some good loungewear. With the ever-pressing need to do our part in directly support our local economy, we’ve rounded up our favourite South African brands who are making some gorgeous loungewear. And honestly, once you go through these you won’t want to get your comfort anywhere else!

Me&B
Kelly and Betina are the mother-daughter duo of Me&B – one of the most inclusive local brands around, stocking sizes from 32 to 46. Their new winter range includes some seriously fashion-forward loungewear numbers in a variety of styles. We love their Check Colour Block set (which could be real-office acceptable too, right?), their Sweats set in fun prints, and their Jersey Lounge sets that give all the 70s feels.

Bod
Elevated athleisure is the name of Bod’s game. You can take their gentle sports bras, crop tops and tights from running errands to the gym all while looking ridiculously stylish. Their newest additions are the Formflex Leggings, perfect for those who prefer a close hugging bottom. We love that these leggings are ribbed, high-waisted for comfort and are made from a thicker fabric than their Form Leggings to keep you extra warm in your loungewear.

Sylk & Honey
Luxury loungewear is what Sylk & Honey started out to create, and they’ve been doing a fabulous job of that! Their offering includes a variety of materials and styles in delicious colours. We love the Biscotti set – made up by slightly stretchy 100% cotton cable knit joggers and a matching hoodie – and the soft Taormina High-Waisted Dungaree that elevates the classic workwear garment into a very cool item of loungewear.

Anna-Louise Sleepwear
Sweet dreams are definitely made by going to bed in Anna-Louise’s sophisticated sleepwear. With comfort starting to overtake the fashion world Anna-Louise naturally transitioned into a range of Loungewear with traditional cuts and luxurious feeling. We love the addition of their Cashmere Cardigan which is perfect to wrap around you for some extra snuggling: a longer length cardigan with an oversized fit to layer over anything and everything, since you’ll always want to.

This boutique houses everything your wardrobe could ever want, so of course there’s an extensive range of Loungewear sets. We love the Roon Collective Loungewear Sets for their slouchier fit and range of colours. Entrepreneural queen, Aisha Baker, has just released her winter collection on her just year old label – and it’s fab! Along with skirts and knitwear there’s a bunch of luxurious 80s inspired loungewear sweats in flattering modern cuts. We love their Half Moon Sweatshirts made from a cozy fleece with a high neck and zip, plus an elasticated waist which allows you to wear it either as a crop or mid-rise pullover depending on what you prefer.
