Our November cover star Leigh-Anne Williams, presenter of SABC 3 breakfast show, Expresso and Strictly Come Dancing SA runner-up, shares her fashion and beauty tips and buys.
Banish dark circles: I struggle with dark circles under my eyes, but I’ve discovered an incredible product, Optiphi Eyesigns Active Gel, R790 – it works wonders!
Dry Skin: I also have such dry skin and have found the answer in Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser and Daily Facial Moisturizer, R167 for 250ml which seems to do the trick.
Falsies: Fake eyelashes are everything! I believe in always wearing false eyelashes. There’s something so stunning about big gorgeous eyes, no matter what the occasion.
Look-at-me Lips: Red lipstick always make me feel better.
Hydration is key: I drink litres of water a day to keep my skin hydrated to flush all the toxins.
Jeans, jeans, jeans: I own loads of pairs of jeans which I doll up with accessories – a great scarf or fabulous jewellery.
Go neutral: My wardrobe is full of neutrals I can easily mix and match. My go-to colours in clothing are the basic black, brown and white.
Trends aren’t everything: Not all trends need to be followed, find your own style.
Go-to outfit: A tank top, blazer, black pants and stilettos.
Buy the classics: I prefer timeless classics that have longevity. Invest in key pieces that will make your wardrobe stretch further.
