With the very special Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, we’re all trying to come up with ideas of how we could show mom a bit of extra love. If you’re thinking of taking her out for a delicious meal or high tea, here are a few great spots where you could spend the day.
This eclectic cafe and bistro in Joburg’s Kyalami area is a delightful spot to spoil mom this Sunday. They’re serving up a special high tea (R350pp), including a welcome gin & tonic – the event starts at 12pm, so it’s perfectly respectable – a savoury seafood basket and sweet treats like cupcakes, pavlova and scones. Don’t bother with breakfast before this one! Visit their website for more information.
