1. Montecasino’s Christmas Village
Visit Montecasino’s annual Christmas Market to get your hands on bespoke Christmas gifts. With over 60 exhibitors this year, there’ll be plenty of meandering to do amongst the stalls. Feeling hungry? There’ll be a selection of craft food stands selling gourmet burgers and tasty churros, too! Entry fee is R10 (free entrance for kids under 12 and pensioners).

2. Spier Light Art Show
Gather your brood for a family visit to Spier this Christmas. The celebrated wine farm in Stellenbosch is hosting its first-ever light art show during this festive season. Here, visitors will be able to experience an iridescent exhibition of interactive light and sound artworks. You’ll feel whimsical as you move from one display to another!

3. A Christmas Celebration at The Playhouse
Create a spectacular memory with your family by attending this year’s Christmas showcase starring the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and Playhouse Chorale. This family-fun event will help you celebrate the end of the year in song – expect a dazzling medley of festive classics and hymns.

4. Baakens Food Truck Funday
Enjoy a fun outing with the kids to this year’s special Christmas edition of Baakens Food Truck Funday, a community-driven food market in Port Elizabeth. Pets are welcome to tag along, too, so feel free to bring the whole clan.

5. Matilda: The Musical
