This August, dinner-kit delivery specialist UCOOK is giving consumers the opportunity to cook like the incredible women they’ve come to respect in the culinary world. Three power-house female chefs are due to feature on the UCOOK line-up during Women’s Month, including Lexi Monzeglio from Lexi’s Healthy Eatery, celebrity chef Lorna Maseko and renowned chef, food writer and TV show host, Sarah Graham.
David Torr, co-founder at UCOOK, says they’ve positioned the Women’s Month campaign as a master class for UCOOK customers. “For the first week of the master class, we’ve chosen meals that are as beautiful as they are tasty. We’ve paired colourful, quality ingredients with seriously impressive plate up tips and it’s resulted in food you’re going to want to take photos of!”
Week two focuses on Sarah Graham and her wholesome approach to serving up delectable meals. Sarah prides herself on food that nourishes both the mind and body and her meals include Nourishing Trout, Herb-Crusted Lamb and Mushroom Bowl.
Week three brings star power into the mix with the glamorous Lorna Maseko. Lorna’s wholesome approach to food and the joy she gets from feeding the people around her is evident with her creations which include Lorna’s Mediterranean Lamb Roast with roast cabbage and yoghurt caper dressing, Citrus Chicken, and Capri Pasta.
The final week of the campaign is dedicated to Lexi Monzeglio who has just celebrated the opening of her third eatery in Johannesburg. As a self-taught chef she believes that food should be interesting, delicious and beautiful, whether it’s vegan, gluten free or just healthy. Lexi’s meals include delights like Black Rice Risotto, Trout & Quinoa and Cauli & Bean Tacos.
