What’s summer 2015’s biggest fashion trend?
One of the strongest trends for this summer is the comeback of sports luxe – fashion is drawing a lot more inspiration from sportswear, and activewear, in the same vein is drawing more inspiration from fashion. Sportswear has always been at the forefront of fabric technology, with more breathable and comfortable fabrics like mesh – and this is injecting a freshness into everyday wear.
What’s your winter 2015 fashion prediction?
This winter, plush and luxurious warmth is the key.

Who is your South African fashion icon?
Wow – that’s such a difficult one. I would say Mrs Zanele Mbeki. I love the way she put herself together as First Lady, from the on-trend pastel two-piece skirt suit for the opening of Parliament to her more African-inspired outfits on State visits.
